Owners’ Gain Exchange Arrangement Options-

As the timeshare industry continues to mature, owners’ choices for arranging exchanges continue to widen. Many of the branded resort groups have active programs enabling owners to exchange among the resorts within the group. Vacation clubs provide another vehicle for vacationing at various resorts. Our Best Exchange-

Our drive through the Ozarks, the flatlands, and then the Ouachita (WASH - ee-tah) Mountains to Hot Springs Village was very scenic. When we arrived at our unit, we were again delighted! The one-level villa had our name by the entrance, which opened to a patio that was complete with table, chairs, and wood pile by the front door. Inside was a huge living room complete with TV, wood-burning fireplace (and fire-starters), two sofas and two recliners with plenty of lights. Read More...

 

Special Assessments: Ever Justified?-

Special Assessments are needed when developers keep maintenance fees artificially low by not having an adequate reserve fund. Some developers do that to enhance sales by claiming to prospective owners that they have low maintenance fees. After the resort is sold out, the owner-controlled Board finds a lot of maintenance and replacement needs to be done to keep the resort as it was when owners purchased.
